On the 19th april 2024, Syndex and its partner LBBa hosted its third and last seminar in the framework of the EU co-funded project aiming at rebalancing social dialogue between social partners in multinational companies. Discussions were organised around the use of economic and legal expertise by EWC members and Board Level Employees' representatives, the tools they need to fully play their role, and good practices and actions aiming at supporting the setting up and good functioning of transnational information, consultation and participation mechanisms and bodies.
Complementing the programme of the day, a debate on the revision of the EU directive on EWCs was conducted by ETUC representatives part to this project, who presented the current state of european negotiations and the initiatives carried by the ETUC on this topic.
The final conference concluding this project will be organised in the upcoming months and will be the opportunity to present and promote the recommendations and take-aways gathered during this last year of collaborative work.
