Syndex attends the 4th ITUC World Congress
Afficher l'article en plein écranThe International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) is holding its 4th Congress from 2 to 7 December 2018 in Copenhagen. Syndex presents its new support tools for unions on the duty of vigilance of companies and the impact of climate change for workers.
Four debates aimed at shaping future ITUC policies will focus on hot topics: peace, democracy and rights; the regulation of economic power; global transformations - just transitions; and equality.
The theme of this year's Congress at the ITUC is ""Building workers’ power Change the Rules". It brings together more than 1200 trade unionists from 130 countries.
The Congress will adopt an action plan for the ITUC for the next four years.
The ITUC is the largest democratic organization in the world representing 207 million workers through 331 national trade union centers.
It promotes the rights and interests of workers through international cooperation between trade unions, global campaigns and militant actions in key international institutions.
