Syndex Europe and WMP developed, alongside a partnership of six European Trade Union Federations (IndustriAll Europe, Uni Europa, EFBWW, EFFAT, ETF and EPSU), and with the cooperation of the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) and the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), a new interactive online tool dedicated to employee representatives of multinationals faced with restructuring.
The Restructuring-Navigator offers a trade union approach to managing 11 types of transnational restructuring, ranging from relocations to mergers, including closures. The guide, available in 21 languages, offers practical recommendations, legal references and clear information on the rights of employee representatives and the obligations of companies.
Developed in response to the acceleration of global transformations impacting employment (digitization, climate change, globalization), this site aims to arm employee representatives to protect jobs and counter strategies of division between sites or countries.
