The report shows the state of play in postal markets, in the context of the liberalization of postal services, based on 11 national case studies presented in the study as well as extensive desk research. It focuses on three main aspects of liberalization: the impact of market opening; on competition and national postal operators; on employment and working conditions, and on the quality of services.
